Green Tea is a Rich Source of Important Vitamins and Minerals

Green Tea is a rich source of important vitamins, minerals, bioflavanoid antioxidants and polyphenols. There are four primary polyphenols in green tea and they are often collectively referred to as catechines. Catechins are powerful antioxidants, and in recent studies, have been shown to fight viruses and slow aging.

Free radicals are highly reactive particles that can damage cells leaving the body susceptible to cancer, heart disease, and many other degenerative diseases.

Green Tea has Antioxidants to fight those Free Radicals that damage cells.
An antioxidant found in Green Tea, named Epigallocatechin gallate ( EGCG), has been found to be at least 100 more times more effective than Vitamin E at protecting cells and DNA from damage believed to be linked to cancer, heart disease and other serious illnesses.

What Is An Antioxidant?

Mangosteen is very popular for its use with many health conditions, owing to some very special compounds hidden inside its juicy layers of deep rich-red pericarp.

Xanthones are a particular class of plant nutrients that are highly, biologically active and possess very potent antioxidants, and the Mangosteen Fruit supplies some of the highest amounts of xanthones found in nature. There are over 30 different types of xanthone compounds identified in mangosteen, but one of the most researched is “Beta Mangostin”.

Independent laboratory tests show that Vemma provides more beta mangostin and other Mangostin Xanthones per ounce than the other mangosteen products that have been tested. Mangosteen’s antioxidants are many times STRONGER than regular fruit and vegetables.

What is an antioxidant?

Let’s start with a little background information first. Just like rust on a car, oxidation can damage our bodies’ cells and may contribute to the agingprocess. Oxidation happens as the result of invading, damaging moleculescalled free radicals. Free radicals are unstable oxygen molecules that getinto the body as a result of over-exercise, stress, being exposed to dirty airand other environmental pollutants.

Antioxidants help prevent oxidation by counteracting free radicals. They dothis by binding to them and transforming them into non-damagingcompounds. Consequently, antioxidants are integral in supporting the body’snatural defense system.

Following is a Partial list of properties revealed from studying of the Xanthones found in Mangosteen:

Increased Energy
Lower Blood Pressure
Anti-depressant
Healthier digestion
Help relieve migraine
Anti-asthma
Natural Pain Relief
Stabilises Thyroid
Heart protective
Relieves Urinary Pain

Most Mangosteen supplement manufacturers cook their juice prior to bottling which can kill the nutrients and can make the juice acidic and render some preservatives more harmful. The Vemma product is cold processed, making the Vemma product a safe, high value product giving the best results.
